The CLP "postponement" did not postpone everything: since 1 July 2026 parts of the revision under Regulation (EU) 2024/2865 already apply, including the obligation for a supplier established in the Union to be identified on the label.
Regulation (EU) 2025/2439 only postpones five blocks to 1 January 2028: label format, deadlines for updating labels, advertising, distance selling and labelling at service stations.
The other dates stand as they were, and there is a provisional political agreement that may change part of the calendar again.
By date, it looks like this: what already applies, what arrives on 1 January 2027, what is postponed to 2028 and what may change again.
